Use the 'Open Mat file' action to load surface control point coordinates from a Matlab MAT file.
Click the menu icon to perform this action. Detail: The Surfit user can load control point vertices from a Matlab MAT file. The MAT file must contain three rectangular matrices representing the X, Y and Z coordinates of Surfit surface patch control points. When the file is selected, a Surfit surface is generated and appended to the current project. Once the vertices are loaded the resulting surface can be edited like any other Surfit surface patch. Each MAT file must contain exactly three Matlab 2D array variables representing the X, Y and Z coordinates in that order. Each Matlab 2D array variable must have the same dimensions. |
