Use the 'Open Obj file' action to load a triangulated point clouds from a Wavefront OBJ file.
Click the menu icon to perform this action. Detail: The Surfit user can load a triangulated point cloud from a Wavefront OBJ file. The OBJ file must contain 'v' tags and 'f'tags. When the file is selected, Surfit loads the data into the current project. Once the vertices are loaded the resulting surface can be displayed in bright green superimposed on any other Surfit surface patches. The OBJ data cannot be edited. The triangulated mesh is displayed in the black background 3D view and in the three orthogonal views. Use the 'View'->'Meshes' menu to toggle displaying or hiding of OBJ file data. |
