MERGE_SURFACES_BY_COLUMN
Use the MERGE_SURFACES_BY_COLUMN operation to merge two surfaces into one. The columns of control points of the second surface are appended to the columns of control points of the first surface. Surfaces can only be merged in this way if they have the same number of rows of control points.

Click the icon and then click on any control point of the first surface in one of the orthogonal projection views. The corresponding surface will be selected as the first surface in the merge. This will be indicated by the control point being highlighted in green.

Next, click on a control point of the surface to be used as the second surface in the merge.

If the numbers of rows of control points on the two surfaces are compatible, the control points will be combined to create a single surface, and the interpolated geometry of this new surface will be updated automatically.

The MERGE_SURFACES_BY_COLUMN mode is disabled automatically after the merge is completed.
